Things to do in NYC This Fall

And just like that summer is over! I’ll be the first to admit I’m actually excited for fall. This is still a great outdoor season without the excessive heat. Fall in New York happens in the blink of an eye, making it a challenge to fully enjoy it before the winter comes in full force. With so much going on in this transitional season, here are 20 places I’m looking forward to experiencing this fall.

IN THE CITY

  1. Seastreak. Seastreak offers a number of experiences for the fall including its whale watching tour, sunset cocktail cruise, a fall foliage brunch cruise, and weekend trips to places like cape cod and the Hamptons. Check here for rates

  2. Area 53

  3. Paint n pour. This is a great indoor or activity for the fall. Nothing says fall date night like a cool. A night out in the city with endless drinks painting the night away. Tickets are $50

  4. Governors Island. Governors Island doesn’t officially close until the end of October. If you didn’t get a chance to make it this summer or found it too hot to enjoy, the next two months are the perfect time to experience this city escape 5 minutes from manhattan

  5. Botanical garden. The Botanical Garden holds a pumpkin festival every October making it the perfect place to experience fall in the city!

  6. Sip and play. Sip and play is the best place to chill with friends after school. This cafe has the best vibes for studying and also has hundreds of board games for customers to play with. $7 per person

  7. Greenpoint terminal market. My favorite activity in the summer is visiting flea markets around the city. Greenpoint terminal market is keeping this summer activity going all the way until October!
